Western Australia’s natural environment is increasingly under threat from corporate interests aiming to weaken environmental protections. In response, an alliance, including the Australian Marine Conservation Society and WA Forest Alliance, partnered with Wildlings Creative Agency to launch the "Animal Defenders" campaign. This initiative addresses community concerns about wildlife preservation through striking photographic and 3D renders of iconic species, like numbats and sea turtles, wielding nature-inspired weapons to symbolically combat habitat destruction. These fantastical images reflect the real risks posed to WA’s wildlife by harmful projects, calling for greater protection and awareness.
